- General Routine Preparation
a. Formulate a construction plan
b. Conduct a thorough inspection on every equipment used. This will prevent quality issues from machine failure during the construction. - Material Preparation
a. The material includes gravel stones, cement, sand, and steels.
b. Gravel stones are an important component in the concrete mix. Therefore, it’s important to meet the size and hardness requirements when picking gravels.
c. When choosing cement, pay attention to the integrity of the supplier and pick the ones that comply with the development requirements. Build a mutually beneficial relationship with them. This can not only ensure the quality, but it can also ensure adequate and immediate supply during the development.
d. When picking sand, the crew needs to ensure that the size of sand matches the construction requirement.

When installing templates, the location needs to be taken into consideration. Try to keep the template as balanced as possible. That way situations such as surface template being twisted during installation can be prevented. - Mixing Techniques
The percentage of each ingredient should be adjusted based on each particular case. The mix could still segregate during delivery which can decrease the quality, jeopardizing the requirements. To alleviate this problem, proper transportation should be chosen for the mix delivery such that the segregation rate of the mix can be controlled and its property preserved. - Laying, Spreading and Jolt Ramming Techniques
When laying and spreading mix, the mix has to be poured into specific moulds. If segregation occurs during the laying and spreading process, a remixing is needed which will be effective against the mix segregation. When doing concrete surface development during the rainy season, the waterproofing of the site should be strengthened. Also, jolt ramming needs to be carried out with specific equipment. This way, smoothness and flatness of the cement track construction can be improved when development effectiveness is ensured in the meantime. - Surfacing Techniques
Since concrete surface has less friction, it may need to be broom finished depending on the type of cement in order to increase the traction of the track surface and in turn decrease the likelihood of traffic accidents. Due to the fact that there’s a high requirement for broom finishing on concrete surfaces, proper broom finishing techniques need to be selected when brushing cement surfaces to ensure the aesthetics of the road surface texture. In addition, when treating concrete surface, proper guidelines and processes should be followed and comprehensive protection needs to be carried out afterwards, preventing vehicles and pedestrians from interfering with the smoothness of the road surfaces.
